• Introduction
• MIP-1α is a cytokine composed of two peptide chains with a relative molecular weight of 8000 and found in the supernatant of macrophages induced by LPS. Many cells have the ability to secrete MIP-1α. The receptors for MIP-1α include CCR1, CCR5, and CCR9. When MIP-1α binds to the receptor, it will produce waterfall-like cell activation and induce inflammatory cells to reach the effect site. MIP-1α also has a chemotactic effect on neutrophils, and participates in NK cell and NTL-mediated cytolysis, and participates in inflammation or tumor local immune process.
