  • In vivo models focus on the complete organism based on various animal models. Compared with in vitro systems, the experimental settings of in vivo models are more complicated because of the complexity of the living organism. The candidates may behave differently from the expected results. In addition, the animal models for cytokine and chemokine responses study might be important for the research of mechanisms of toxicity and correlates of protection.
