• Introduction
• Interleukin 17 (IL-17) is one of the more than 30 kinds of interleukins that have been found and is ranked 17th by serial number. IL17 is secreted by CD4 + T cells, can induce epithelial cells, endothelial cells, fibroblasts to secrete IL-6, IL-8, G-CSF, PGE2, and promote the expression of ICAM-1. IL-17 is an early initiating factor of T cell-induced inflammatory response, which can amplify the inflammatory response by promoting the release of pre-inflammatory cytokines. After IL-17 binds to the receptor, it can play its biological role through the MAP kinase pathway and nuclear factor kB (NF-kB) pathway.
